Auckland War Memorial Museum is both a museum and a site of commemoration for New Zealanders lost at war.

The Museum houses two halls of memory within which the names of all those killed in major conflicts of the 20th Century are recorded and remembered.

The Cenotaph and consecrated ground in front of the Museum are a touchstone of remembrance every Anzac Day (25 April).

The War Memorials and galleries are located on the top floor.

Located in Auckland's picturesque domain, the Auckland Museum features two stylish and comprehensive shopping choices.

Whether you’re looking for quality gifts or a special memento of your visit, the Museum Shops have the best in gifts and souvenirs.

At the Southern end, the Atrium shop specialises in books, music, children's toys and games.
Within our colonnaded Foyer at the Northern end, we have Maori arts and crafts, New Zealand decorative arts and fun souvenirs.

Above is the Information i got from the leaflet i got given when entering the Museum.

Before leaving the Museum i brought loads of wonderful Souveniers..
