Samantha's anti inflammatories..

                               Samantha's anti inflammatories..

Samantha's tablet's she now has to take..

I hope they ease her pain..

Look how big one lot of Samantha tablet our..

So a few months ago we took Samantha to the vets because she cut her back pad and it looked abit deep to me and while we were their i asked them about her hips because she walks to one side and is very clumsy, they asked if they could take x-ray but they would have to give her a injection to make her sleep to be able to take the xray's of her hips, so they sent me home for a few hours to take the x-ray's, a few hour's later i got a call to go back and get Samantha and her test result..

Paul rushed home from work to come with me to the results, so we headed back to the vets and got called into a room to get the results i got very nervous but i didnt expect to hear the news we got..

We got told Samantha has Hip Dysplasia in both hip's, worse on the left side and she also only has half a hip joint on the left side, i didnt under stand she was only 6 months old but the vet said she was born with it and if it wasnt for me being so concerned we wouldnt have found out for another year or so which would have made her legs worse..

She now has to take 2 diffrent tablets twice aday for pain and anti inflammatories to stop her hip's from being swollen and painful..

My pour baby, i was so upset, but we are doing everything we can to help her hips by walking her short distance often and we also found out Tuna is good for her because it has omega in it and it will help her hip joint build extra muscle, so on top of our shopping list we now add $30 of tuna so Samantha can have a tin in her food every other day.. Things we do for our doggys and i say that because i hate tuna and the smell of it makes me sick but as long as it help Samantha's hips it's worth it..

Fingers crossed her hips get a little better soon..
